Hatzolah Shaarei Chessed
Hatzalah Shaarei Chessed’s mission statement is to save lives and improve medical outcomes. Our community-based volunteers are certified EMTs and Paramedics. Our driving Principles are as stated in Parshat Kedoshim which we read just a couple of weeks ago: “Do not stand by idly on your friend’s blood” and “Love your fellow man as yourself”.Over the last year first responders from Magen David Adom decided to expand our services to become a community based medical response team specifically for our community of Shaarei Chessed and it’s surrounding Rehavia and central Jerusalem areas. Hatzalah Shaarei Chessed plans on continuing our expansion with services within our community as well as community training blood drives and other community events.
