Focusing on women and girls initiative for positive change (FOWGI for positive change) founded in 2017 is a non-governmental organization curbing the social vises faced by women and girls in Africa. We place the specific needs and rights of women and girls at the heart of all we do. Our focus is self-discovery for societal impacts. We believe that every child should be given the opportunity to be educated no matter the gender of the child as both sexes can bring equal growth and contribution of the society and they will possess the power to lift their families and communities out of poverty an increase in girls education will reduce infant and maternal mortality as educated mothers have fewer pregnancies are less likely to give birth as teenagers and are better able to access the maternal health care they need. . We believe also that empowering women is fundamental because it holds the potential to boost growth in any economy. FOWGI for positive change is fully registered with the corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria with registration number CAC/IT/NO 125917.
