The Society for Lincolnshire History and Archaeology is an historic countywide history and archaeology society which runs courses and meetings arranges visits and fieldwork and publishes and sells books. SLHA acts as a focus for local groups across Lincolnshire and is always interested in views and news about the countys past.
People have lived on the Isle of Raasay for over 10000 years. Archaeological surveys conducted by the Association for Certificated Field Archaeologists from 1995 to 2009 identified nearly 2100 features built and used by people over this long period of time.
