Dr. Ganjianpour is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who grew up in Clearwater Florida. He attended University of Florida for his undergraduate studies in Microbiology and stayed on at the University of Florida to complete his medial education. After completing his residency in orthopedic surgery Dr. Ganjianpour obtained subspecialty fellowship training at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI) in sports medicine minimally invasive surgery and arthroscopic reconstruction of the shoulder knee and ankle. Throughout his career as a Sports Medicine orthopedic surgeon Dr. Ganjianpour has been involved in the care of athletes and has served as team physician for local high schools since 1996. He has also provided medical coverage for local colleges and athletic organizations including the Great Floridian Triathlon and has participated in the direct care of international Olympic athletes training in the United States. Dr. Ganjianpour has written book chapters published articles and given many local and national lectures on topics pertaining to the field of sports medicine arthroscopy and minimally invasive surgery. He has also been a clinical instructor at local and national orthopedic surgery and arthroscopy courses. His specialties include minimally invasive approaches to the treatment of arthritis cartilage replacement procedures rotator cuff disease instability of the shoulder knee and ankle and ligament injuries.
