Film industry specialist with over a decade of experience as a Curator Impact Producer and Author. My focus has been on cinema of the African diaspora. I specialise in Nigerian Cinema having coined the term BEYOND NOLLYWOOD. My two books include The Black British Filmmakers Guide to Success and The Nigerian Filmmaker’s Guide to Success: Beyond Nollywood. I co-produced BBC World Service radio documentary SHOOTING IT LIKE A WOMAN – a take on women in the Nigerian film industry. In recent years I have worked with the British Film Institute British Coun cil London Film School Comic Relief BBC Arabic Festival and Tribeca Film Festival.
Felipe Téllez is a composer and orchestrator. His credits include scores for film concert and advertisement as well as teaches at University of Toronto.
Nadia Dentons specially researched official V&A tour gives an overview of the African presence in 17th and 18th Century Europe. As part of the tour attendees look at a number of known and unknown figures as well as the achievements of individuals of African descent in European history through baroque rococo and neoclassical art.
