Marina Porras Chassignet born in Barcelona and based in Berlin studied psychology at the University of Barcelona and visual communication at the University of the Arts Berlin where she also completed her postgraduate masters degree in illustration. She has received different grants and scholarships amongst others at The Fabric Workshop and Museum Philadelphia (2014) at Marafiki Arts Kenya (2015) and The Danish Art Workshops Copenhagen (2017). She was also co-founder of the risograph-printing workshop Penthaus für schöne Formate in Berlin (2016). Since 2016 she works as a freelance illustrator in different disciplines such as editorial textile design packaging or interior design and has been working on various teaching assignments for a variety of institutions amongst others at the University of the Arts Berlin. Since 2022 she also works as a print workshop supervisor and lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Berlin. Feel free to contact her for commissions or collaborations.
